Pradhnya Deshmukh has over five years of progressive experience in legal business development across leading Indian and global law firms. Her work sits at the intersection of legal intelligence, strategic advisory, and commercial execution, and it is this career, not her legal practice, that DheeSpeaks is built on.

At LawSikho, she worked as Product Manager and Course Anchor, co-authoring legal books, curating practitioner templates, and anchoring courses in civil litigation and commercial arbitration in collaboration with global faculty. The discipline of high-volume, high-precision legal content production, built there, now underpins how DheeSpeaks approaches thought leadership and BD collateral.

At Dentons Link Legal, she served as the firm's business development lead for its proprietary AI-powered global proposal system in India, directing cross-border alliance development and bid preparation, and managing directory submissions and partner profiles across the firm's Indian offices for Chambers, Venture Intelligence, and L500.

At Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, one of India's largest law firms, she worked directly with the firm's founders on firm-wide strategic intelligence and cross-practice expansion planning, led a firm-wide technology integration initiative, and coordinated a cross-functional team spanning business development, content, and operations across international markets.

Since moving into independent advisory work, she has designed BD governance frameworks for multi-office firms, advised an intellectual property law firm on building a startup-facing practice, built a warm-lead pitch funnel for a firm expanding into a new practice area, shaped LinkedIn presence and content strategy for a boutique firm, and advised a Tamil Nadu-based law firm on partnership and location expansion strategy.

Separately from her business development career, Pradhnya has also practiced law directly. Her career began in litigation, appearing before the Bombay High Court, the City Civil and Sessions Courts, and the NCLT. Alongside her BD work, she has also taken on direct client mandates: drafting US visa petitions (O-1 and EB-1 categories) for industry experts, and handling trademark registration and management for small businesses.

This hands-on legal work sits outside what DheeSpeaks offers as a consultancy. What it gives Pradhnya is a genuine, practitioner-level understanding of how a lawyer's day-to-day actually works, the pressures partners operate under, and what a firm needs from its business development function to be useful rather than performative. It is the difference between advising on legal BD and having actually sat across the table from a client.

She is currently completing an Executive Programme in Business Management and AI at the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, and holds a BA LLB (Honours in Political Science) from Symbiosis Law School, Pune.
